Raman Systems announces that its products now can be configured to see the radial breathing modes that are so important in working with Carbon Nanotubes.  The lower end of our spectral range can be set for 130 cm-1.  A spectrum from a sample supplied by one of our customers was recorded with our R3000QE.  Three views of the spectrum, the entire spectrum, an enlarged view showing the range from 100 to 350 cm-1, and an enlarged view showing the range from 1200 to 1700 cm-1 can be seen by clicking here.

The RPC-1 is designed specially for industrial process control applications, providing the user with the capability to monitor several measurement channels on the same instrument and communicate results to the LIMS or a control center. The 19" rack-mountable systems consists of 1-8 Raman spectrometers, sampling accessories and integrated software with industry-standard communication protocols including 4-20 mA and MODBUS. The robust design allows the system to be deployed in harsh environments and is ideal for monitoring reactions and processes in various industries.
