Raman Systems announces that its products now can be configured to see the radial breathing modes that are so important in working with Carbon Nanotubes.  The lower end of our spectral range can be set for 130 cm-1.  A spectrum from a sample supplied by one of our customers was recorded with our R3000QE.  Three views of the spectrum, the entire spectrum, an enlarged view showing the range from 100 to 350 cm-1, and an enlarged view showing the range from 1200 to 1700 cm-1 can be seen by clicking here.

Current Partnerships

Raman Systems is currently involved in joint ventures with the following organizations

  • Prescient Medical Inc. -- RSI and Prescient have joined forces to develop products for use in medical facilities.

  • Boston University Medical Center -- RSI and the BU Medical Center are jointly developing a product for monitoring the condition of a patient's blood during the dialysis process. The effort, funded by the NIH, has produced outstanding results.

  • ERCO Worldwide, a division of Superior Plus Inc.-- RSI and ERCO have teamed to develop products for the paper and pulp industry.

  • Cellular Process Chemistry Systems, GmbH -- RSI and CPC have teamed to develop Process Control Systems.
