R3000 - The Perfect Tool for Teaching Laboratories and Routine Analysis
(Download The R3000 Datasheet)
Introduction

The R-3000 is the first choice for a university or company that needs the capabilities that only Raman spectroscopy can provide but at a very affordable price. The system comes completely packaged with all hardware and software needed to start collecting Raman spectra out of the box. RSI-Scan incorporates all spectrometer functions into one simple-to-use program including spectral acquisition, display, and storage.

The optional RSI-Ident software allows the user to build spectral libraries or install commercially available ones. With it the user can easily build a chemical identification system for any application.

Benefits

Price Performance. The R3000 is an excellent choice for users who want a full featured Raman spectrometer but who are on a budget. The detector features a wide spectral range and uses frames based integration to minimize the need for CCD cooling.

Comprehensive. Despite its attractive price the R3000 comes complete with everything needed to carry out Raman spectroscopy. THis includes a stainless steel-encased fiber optic sampling probe, a set of focusing probe caps for solid and liquid sampling, calibration standards and a laptop loaded with RSI-Scan software.

Simplicity of Operation. The RSI-Scan software allows true point-and-click operation. Sample spectra, including automatic dark current subtraction, takes only a matter of seconds. Recording and reading of spectra use the industry standard SPC format enabling one to easily build a spectral library.

Adaptability. The optional RSI-Ident software enables the user to put thousands of reference spectra at one's fingertips by reading and storing any of the commercially available spectral libraries that conform to the universal SPC file format. With true point-and-click opration this software identifies an unknown in seconds. The user can create his or her own libraries just as easily as loading commercially available ones.
